Candy Corn Cornbread / myLot

It had to be several years ago I came across a recipe for candy corn cornbread. I don’t like candy corn at all, and always avoided it at Halloween, but my late mom liked it so I decided to try the recipe. She loved it! The cornbread mixture turned a light orange overnight, so it was kind of festive. Of course, there are ways to make it where the candy corn does not dissolve, but stays in pieces, but that’s not how I like it. This picture is a little lighter in color than mine turned out, but it was the closest I could find. Are you guys candy corn people? Would you try this?

This looks tasty. I'm not a fan of cornbread but i want to eat and taste , maybe it's delicious!

I am not a big candy corn fan. I might try it somewhere, probably wouldn't make it though. I like the idea of jalapenos or another savory in my corn bread.

I suppose we might have cornbread here but I've never seen it. And I don't know anything about candy corn. Maybe some American things haven't made it over here! lol

I have invented some different types of food in my life, but have never tried or heard of this. My oldest daughter is a huge fan of candy corn, I am going to tell her about this, for sure!

I had to browse to know what candy corn is all about. Now that I know I would straight away eat it (lol) Nex time when my friend arrives from the USA I will ask her to buy me a box

Although I do like fruit bread (blueberry, cranberry and so on) I am not sure how I would like candy cornbread. But I would try it as I do not mind the taste of candy corn.

It’s surprisingly good, although I ate it in small servings. I didn’t want to wear myself out on it.
