I am sure we have heard of the story of "Goldilocks And The Three Little Bears" in our lifetime.
Although Asheville resident Erin Chester is not Goldilocks, she did have to deal with three bears that tore up her Halloween pumpkins as well as her Amazon packages that were on her front porch on Wednesday October 23 since her video camera caught the three bears destroying her package and eating her pumpkins.
The three bears were very hungry as they helped themselves eating the two pumpkins as they walked away from her residence unharmed.

Goldilocks should know that she either befriends hungry bears or pumpkins. I, myself, accepted that my garden was not mine anylonger since Luna arrived at my house. And dogs do not compare to bears. I have heard over and over again on TV that in places where there is wildlife you simply CANNOT leave anyhing they might like to eat, not even garbage.

You are right that where wildlife is around, nothing that a bear can see should be in the open.

@Deepizzaguy I watch often those TV channels with wildlife and they always warn people about leaving food in places where there are bears. It also seems that in some placres tourists feed the bear cubs if they see them. That is very dangerous.

@marguicha You are right that some people do not heed the warnings not to feed the bears..

Lol! They look cute in the photos... I know the owner of the house is not so happy about it.
But I feel bad to the three hungry bear,,, coz they are hungry, who wants to get hungry and there is nothing to eat.

Bears eating pumpkins. Who knew. That should give the neighbor "pumpkin" to talk about.

I am in agreement with you. It is odd for a bear to eat pumpkins.

If they can eat pumpkins, their teeth must be very sharp, and I would stay well away from them; the bears in Goldilocks ate porridge, which is softer on their teeth.
I would certainly not like to live in an area where bears are free to roam up to houses like that either.
Where are the rangers that should keep them to their assigned areas, as happened with Yogi bear?

I am in agreement with you that the bears did enjoy the pumpkins as a meal.
