Was It a Terriffic Tuesday?

I have to say yes on that because I did get things done that HAD to be done! I would have loved to have gotten more done, but I am satisfied with the effort today and what I got crossed off the list!
I sent a text to my friend at the drug store today and asked if she would please inquire to the druggist who enters my products into the computer and see if he thought he could get a couple (no more than five) gift bundles entered soon. If so, I would drop them off on Wednesday or Friday. I was told that she would be glad to ask, but they were down to one worker now due to an illness hitting all of them. This is sad. I have thought about applying there to work part time a couple of days a week, but illness does scare me with sick people coming in to pick up prescriptions. What are your thoughts on this?
I also made my stop at the boutique and put a couple of new things out there and added a few gift bundles.
Next stop was Dollar Tree to get some paint since I can't find mine to paint more little boxes for the gift bundles. I also picked up a few snacks for our drive Thursday.
And finally I made it to the flea market! I was surprised that the booth wasn't totally destroyed! I had just enough time to pick up and tidy up and get the new things I brought all put out. Perfect timing!
Then I stopped to fill the car up with gas so we don't have to do that Thursday morning. I lucked up and got gas for $2.48 per gallon! I was afraid that the price would go up with the holiday, but it stayed the same as when I passed by there last week.
Last, but not least was a quick stop at Walmart to get eggs and graham crackers for a dessert I am making tomorrow. I got the eggs, but had to pay $5.78 for a dozen for them. That bites. I wanted to make sure that I had enough on hand to make all of my desserts tomorrow. My hens all take breaks when molting in the Fall so it is an egg here and there.
That's my day! Let's hear about yours!

Would you feel better working there if you wore a mask? Some people think they work, and some don’t, so I guess it depends which research you listen to.
My day was good. I saw a movie (Red One) with a friend and my stepmom, and then saw my best friend and her chihuahuas later in the day. So it’s been a great day in my world. Oh, and I got a Christmas present from a friend! She said to wait until Christmas Day to open it though.

I don't think so. They have a big plastic sheeting from the ceiling down to the counter at the registers. That helps. I would just feel terrible if I brought home something and my husband got sick also. I'll be thinking about this one. Another clerk will be going on vacation as soon as her daughter in law has her first grandchild. She will be out the whole month of December!

@LadyDuck I found it and I should have seen it earlier. Instead I went through everything packed up for events. Duh! I wasted a good 45 min. doing my search, but I pullled out enough stuff to fill a small box for Black Friday deals tomorrow. All good!

@MarieCoyle I am going to Aldi soon! It's on my list. New store in next town over and it has been open for almost a year now. I still haven't been!

I really like Aldi, and their store/house brands are excellent. We have 3 within driving distance, so I am glad of that. I like Ruler,too--it's an Aldi version by Kroger. Very similar.

@MarieCoyle Our Kroger in next city over closed last year. Haven't seen any Ruler stores down this way.

You had a busy day. I was told eggs have went up here too. They are saying bird flu combined with the holidays.

@kareng I have never seen any sign of it in mine. Nor heard anyone say they had it. But many here are of the mind of saying nothing as they want to kill all your birds if it is found.

I enjoyed my day working at home getting rid of the garbage inside the home as well as a box from Hungry Root today working on sharing news stories.

If I wasn't designated to bring desserts for Thanksgiving, they would have stayed. Luckily, I only needed one dozen. I'll be adding to the flock next spring. I'm not paying those prices in the grocery on a regular basis or not again if it can be helped.

I would be afraid to work too. I would definitely wear a mask. My mother had been sick a few weeks ago. She is better now.

First of all, do you really have time to work part-time? And I wouldn't want to be exposed to that many people. $5.78 for eggs is nuts. I love the picture. The hens look like the Radio City Rockettes!!!!!!! Have a good Thanksgiving.

You got a good price for gas, here the price is not going down unfortunately and the eggs are also expensive.
You had a very busy day.
I hate when I cannot find things and this is happening more and more.
