My odd snack for this week. Do you ever snack on "something new"?

I have some Marie's blue cheese dressing in my fridge. I think it's really good. It tastes pretty much like what we made from scratch when I worked in the kitchen at Many Glacier Hotel in Montana many moons ago. I have been buying canned tuna and mixing the dressing in with it. Tuna Salad Chez Horse! It's good on crackers. This week, I felt I needed a change. I bought a Granny Smith apple to dip in my blue cheese dressing. It's been really yummy. That's my odd snack for this week. Granny Smith apples also taste good dipped in peanut butter, but I rarely buy peanut butter. Have you had any "unusual" snacks recently? Photo is of the view of Mt. Gould from Many Glacier Hotel (with telephoto).

I love pickles...that is one of the major reasons I will never come to the US. I will starve if I cannot get Indian pickles in your world....

Off to the store I go. I am tempted to buy some peanut butter, but I think I'll stick with blue cheese dressing for now.

No unusual ones. Just the same ones I usually snack on. Chips and the occasional Nuttella.

Sprouts had a clearance on their autumn snacks. A bunch of it was 99 cents! One of them was a bag of popcorn with chocolate and peanut butter . . . literally like popcorn and Reese's put together in a ball. It was a small bag and we all ate it up in 2 seconds.

@TheHorse I didn't realize it was a popcorn thing until I got home. Yah, sounded ick to me at first, but it was actually pretty good!

My BIL has fruit cake with Wensleydale cheese and says it's magic. I can't even imagine it myself.

I switch up my snacks too. I am not as ambitious as you are though. I will switch up what kind of fruit or what kind of cheese I will eat, but that seems to be the extent of my snack adventures. Actually Adventures in Snacking would make for a really good cookbook title if you were going to go that route, but I couldn't I like apples with peanut butter too, also bananas with PB are delicious and very filling.

Heh. I don't think I have enough material for a snack cook book. Heh. I have been buying Cheesy Poofs recently, as well as Planter's honey peanuts.

I find that blue cheese dressing is very good on chicken nuggets, Odd? I just made a meal in my electric skillet. First packaged gravy, added some tater tots, a pork patty and swirled through two eggs, It was very delicious,

I always have Marie's blue cheese handy. I love it on burgers, baked potatoes, French fries and salad.
