Found out today that I have to allow them to view ALL rooms of the house. Still looking for a place. It is harder to find a decent place for the amount of money we have to spend on Rent and/or Buying a place than I have ever had. It just seems like there are no places we can afford. I keep praying, looking, and asking friends to help, but so far nothing in our area. Even some places in towns outside of Bay County, that are IN our finances are so broken down and unlivable. Not giving up by any means, but so scared that we will be homeless in the middle of winter.
Need prayers that we will find a place livable and in our budget.

Well, I don't know why you're selling , but you can always negoiate a close date until after you've secured a new place to live. You can ask your realtor about it. And, yes, they need to view all rooms. If a room is occupied, premission needs to be granted, but tours are usually done when other family members are out of the home.

I am Not Selling the house...I have rented this place for 19 years. We thought we would be able to stay here forever..that is what the landlord told us...but apparently he has changed things up. I think his son who is supposed to be taking over the rentals doesn't want to do so, and he is getting too old to do much. So I understand, but doing this during the Holidays is ridiculous. I was told there was no hurry...now all of a sudden they are rushing things. They are Jehovah Witnessses and they do not believe in Christmas.

@Ghostlady They want to try and make a profit before the end of the year because of resale value and taxes. You maybe paying rent, but they have to pay the taxes on it.

@kaylachan The taxes on this place is only $1,232. A month's rent will just about pay that.

So sorry to hear about your home situation. Some people have no compassion. Prices on everything have gone up especially rents and housing. Hoping the New Year finds you with another place to live.
This sure puts a damper on the phrase Happy Holidays. Prayers to you for better times ahead!

Can you wait till spring comes to find a place ?
I know when we were looking for a place we had
the same problem & that was B-4 B & H got in
office, I can only imagine what it's like now.
