The Wild Fires. / myLot

Mylot, I had 3 friends to lose their homes due to the fires in California. My sister in law, is near 90, my best friend, and a cousin. It is so devastating. My best friend lost her house, but her car in the driveway was untouched. I cried so hard yesterday, just thinking of all the ones I knew, and those I didn't. Well, last I wrote about myself, it was a storm, and I did come out of the closet, but had to go back in, because it started up again. It was a rough night. You all take care.

I cannot imagine the devastation. I’m glad your loved ones escaped with their lives, but the hurt of all that loss must be so fresh.

I have a friend online that I first met here. She is no longer active, but when the Paradise fire was in California she lost everything. She and her mom were able to evacuate to her kids home, but her dad was in a long term care facility and had to be evacuated from there. She has moved on, but it certainly is a lot, and there is really nothing we can do except pray, encourage, and maybe replace some goods for them.
