11 January - What I'm Thankful for Today

Good evening from cloudy Green Bay, Wisconsin, USA where the temperature is 27 F. It should start snowing by 1 AM and snow all day tomorrow. 
It's been a good day today.
I'm thankful for getting the dishes run through the dishwasher this morning, along with getting the table cleaned off finally from New Year's Day. All the accumulation of stuff and putting the chips away. Still working on that one though as I don't buy chips so I don't have a place for them.
I'm thankful I got my family pictures back on the wall. It looks nice where I have them. Though I will need to move a couple pictures and try to get them to hang straight.
I'm thankful for my friend down the hall who invited me and my neighbor to dinner tonight. She made meatloaf 
, broccoli, and baked potato with sour cream. For dessert she had a strawberry cheesecake and vanilla praline ice cream. After dinner we played a game of Yahtze. My neighbor won, getting two Yatze's. Neither of us got a Yatze, so my neighbor was the big winner.
As you can see it was a fun day.
I also finished the notifications here for which I'm thankful. I was behind. I have some now, but they'll wait until Monday. It's always wonderful to spend time with you in your world.
Now, instead of going to bed as I should, I need to charge up my phone and my Fitbit. So, it's TV time then bed.

I am thankful George seems hungry today and has had four hotdogs so far. Better then sucking down pain killer like candy. Hoping to put a stop to that.

Right now I am concerned about my husband. He is in the ER and the doctor said the next day or two are critical for him. Would appreciate any prayers.

I did a good drive for 8 hours to reach back at home. Well, there were traffic blocks for almost 25% time and was patient (listening to a conversation on radio about virtues of patience ). started working on few pending things at home . So i am grateful that I did waste time and got into action right away. I was also grateful to the weather which is currently cool , a difference from where I stayed. I hope the weather stays as such for atleast 3-4 months (it may be wishful thinking). I am also grateful to see my missing credit card in my shirt pocket at home. Well, grateful to have done my part of things in the ways possible. Looks like you had a fun day. Enjoy the weekend!

I am thankful the roads are clear and we could go to church. We also went to Walmart for some things that we were out of. Yes, I even got bananas.

Playing Yatzee reminds me of my grandfather. That was his favorite game and I loved playing it with him. Your day sounds fun and the dinner delicious. I love meatloaf and would never turn down ice cream
