Freezing Rain

Stinks. We got some early this morning. I am taking my time before I go shopping. It is above freezing now at 38 F. So the roads should be decent. I will be staying local too. That helps.
I am thinking about going to Marion next week sometime. I want to check out Big Lot's clearance sales. I am thinking about getting some more chicks too and Rural King has those all year. I will get feed and wood chips while I am there. I am just watching for a nicer day for that trip.

The weather will slowly get warmer and clearer.. isn't it? Good to keep your ride local today and go for the longer trip when the weather is nice. Have a good day.
It's Thursday night here. I just want to enjoy some good me time mylotting before hitting the pillow.

Big Lots is closing everywhere. I haven't looked at ours yet, mostly because we don't have money to spend lol. We got rain this morning...a lot of it but the weather is pretty nice. We really need to bring the fan out because it's getting too warm

The thick fog this morning cleared off around 10 am when it started drizzling rain. Thankfully, that's all that has happened here.
It's a shame your ice melted off... I'm sure you would have enjoyed slipping and sliding with George and the birdies today.

The temperature started dropping just after noon today. It's at 36F at 8:05 pm and the overnight low is supposed to be 38F... Do you think something will make the temp go back up during the night?

Our Big Lots store was never a good place to go and hard to navigate as it was so unorganized. I tried several times over the years to shop there, but it was hopeless.

We had ice for most of yesterday, it froze on contact but luckily was a drizzle so we didn’t get inches if heavy ice. But it was slippery all day and all night, and finally melted. Rumor has it we could do it all again Friday night. I would much prefer snow rather than ice. But the darn weather people didn’t ask me my preference, so I expect more ice again.
We will survive, hopefully we will be able to stay home.

It was just wet when I headed out.
Laying hens are getting very expensive. So I might as well enjoy myself

@wolfgirl569 once the nighttime temps get past 60 they will have to get used to no heater. Today was demonstrative from Tish, It was late afternoon and I heard meowing, There she sat in a small patch of sun trying to find a comfortable position but the sun was going down, I knew what that meant,
