Tonight’s dinner is halibut

My mom got me two pieces of halibut. I’m gonna pop them in the oven tonight. I’d say 425F for about 15 minutes according to what I found online. Hopefully that’s enough cooking time for the fish. I know that halibut is a bottom feeder but it’s considered a good fish that you usually find in fine dining establishments. What my mom got is probably not wild caught though but does it matter that much? I’d say it’s still good and healthy to eat. Not sure why hubby is against it. If he decides not to eat it more for me.

Halibut is one of those "fun" fish meals. You can always tell someone you had it for the "halibut" and it never fails to get a chuckle considering the word play. It's also VERY good fish.

Actually did it at 425F for 20 min. It was very tender. Melted in my mouth. Hardly needed to chew. Never heard of that phrase. Funny. Try saying “had it for the halibut” many times fast.

I did it for 20 min instead of 15. It was really good. Not much chewing required. It melted in my mouth.

Wild caught is supposed to be more nutritious.
