Happy FriYay and Happy Valentine's Day!
I got coffee in bed again this morning, which was a very nice treat on a cold morning. I'm not happy about this cold stuff visiting us again. Next week is going to be a true bummer. The forecast has changed again..more on that later!
No plans for Valentine's Day today and since it is cold we won't be venturing out to dinner, which is fine. I don't mind a rain check on dinner out. It will be better since no crowd when we do go!
How about you? Any Valentine's Day celebrations you will be taking part in? Going out or staying home with a nice romantic home cooked meal?

I don't want to sound like a grump but try to enjoy the day with a black cat behind you on top of the PC chair meowing in your ear most of the day. Now Tish might be affirming her love for me but boy, I just wish she would go somewhere and settle down.

No romance in sight here, thank goodness!
We already went out in the 13F and very windy day. We needed to do laundry and, since our washing machine is on the fritz, my brother took us to a local laundromat. At least it isn't snowing today... That is supposed to happen again tomorrow.

Yeah this weather sucks big time. We now have low of 20 for next Wed. and 22 for Thursday night. Not happy. I will probably be in high teens since I am north of the city. Sunday night will be high 20's.
Thank you for Valentine's wishes. I'm just trying to stay warm and positive. Fixing to run to the boutique. I'm making myself go!

@DaddyEvil We stayed home except for my quick run to restock boutique in town and grocery store quick stop. Next week with the new blizzard, I'll be hibernating.

@Deepizzaguy Yeah, we may end up in 20's here. Not looking forward to this. Wed. night we could be at 15. They are saying to expect it to be between 15 to 20F. So middle at 17.5 is still not good! Always a degree to two lower at my house, since we are north of the city. Time for winter to take a hike!

Nah. We don't really celebrate it. We don't do Sweetest Day either. It's just a money grab, if you ask me. I did get flowers for the wife, though, and she surprised me with a 6 pack of a delicious IPA. For dinner I made breaded sirloin pork chops with buttered corn and fried potatoes on the side.

Stayed home with leftover home made food. Valentine's Eve (Thursday) hubs got us Subway. By Thursday, even on a regular week, I am beat. I like the "no crowds" events as crowds are where you get sick.

My girlfriend is one of the few females on this planet who absolutely hates Valentines Day. She thinks exactly like me in the sense that we shouldn't have to have one day where we celebrate love and romance. Those should be everyday occurrences in our relationships!
With that in mind, we invited over a handful of our single friends for a night of games, drinks and baking. It was a really good time.
