I have spent most of the day inside, either in buildings or on roads, but it is still great to see the sun and the ground with no snow. Today I had lab for a check up next week, then we hopped in the car to go for Bob's cataract surgery. All went well and we are home with lots of instructions for eye drops for the next month. In two weeks he will have the same procedure on the right eye. Tomorrow we have a one day check up with our regular eye doctor, so I will stay home from school for that. I will go in the afternoon to help with swimming. Tomorrow will be a tiny bit cooler, but still awesome and nice.

I'm glad Bob's first surgery went well. We reached 75F today. It got hot in the house. (I'm still not feeling very well.) I hope you enjoy your day tomorrow.

With all the weather changes that does happen.

@DaddyEvil I have known people who had it, but I was not familiar with the test. Somehow I had it mixed up with celiac, where sometimes they have to do a biopsy of the lining of the intestines.

@GardenGerty The doctor today suggested I might have diverticulitis so he's testing me for it. (It's another type of poop test. I just don't send the poop this time.)

It will be just a little cooler today, but not too bad.

@GardenGerty Tomorrow we will be close to 70. It might be a bit humid to as it is to rain at some point

@kaylachan Yes, we are. It seems here we change almost abruptly.

Here they only do one eye at a time. Bob is complaining of his eye itching. He is not a good patient, but we will get through it. He has to wear an eye patch for sleeping to keep him from scratching and rubbing it.

@GardenGerty One eye at a time here too but perhaps a fortnight apart. Men don't often make good patients although Vince was very good really, if a bit impatient about recovering more quickly.

I am glad to hear that the surgery went well. Medical procedures are never fun, but over the years they have sure improved on cataract surgery.

Bob said it was a piece of cake. The after care is a bit of a pain, because he will not do the drops himself.

@GardenGerty That's wonderful, that it went so well for him. Eye drops are hard for some people to put in their eyes. I have a hard time with them--my eyes always want to shut before the drops go in them!

I am fine until it hits about 95, but I am not in an apartment on a top floor.

Wow! 69°F is hovering between 20-21°C. Summer weather. It was 5°C/41°F in St Catharines today with occassional sunny outbreaks. Not as nice as your weather, but nice enoough for the end of Feb.

Last week those temps you have would have been blissful as it was so cold. I could get spoiled to this easily, but it is not going to happen.

Best of luck at the eye doctor. I love the sun and the day in the 70s but it is a bit much when the temps drop into the 40s at night.
