I remember when I was a child I looked forward to Sundays and Disney. The World of Disney. Sometimes it would be a movie and other times it would the story of animals in their natural habitat. It always amazed me how they filmed the animals and told the stories about them. Were you a child back then? I feel so fortunate to have been a child during that time. Not just for the television but it was all so different then. There wasn't the terrorist attacks and the gang wars. Things were so innocent and much more positive.

Wild Kingdom, Disney, and Bonanza!! No, I don’t know what you mean.

I think Wild Kingdom was the cause of some of my recurring nightmares (being chased by wild animals from the bottom of the garden... I never quite made it to the gate but then, neither did they).

@BarBaraPrz — I’m sure Jim Fowler had the same nightmares, especially since he was out there with the crocodiles while Marlin Perkins was in the boat.

Yes, we had black and white too. I don't recall color for many years.

Yes, I was a child in the '60s and '70s and I remember watching Disney on Sunday evenings.

I do remember seeing on Panamanian television on Sunday afternoon the Spanish version of the Wonderful World Of Disney which was entertaining around dinner time.

@celticeagle The Panamanian station would carry a few of the networks shows while the American stations would carry some of the older American television shows.

My family got their first TV when I was about 8. Before that, we'd cross the street and watch TV at my grandparents.

I sure remember Disney on Sundays but I preferred cartoons and if it was not a cartoon I always felt disappointed. The animal stories I did enjoy..

I recall that he had some cartoons on with the movie. Maybe I'm not remembering it correctly.

Yes Sunday to viewing has changed over the years. Both from growing up and watching different things, to the actual offering available
