There are days when you wish you could skip ahead - when you question why you even got out of bed.
The future looms like a lingering vortex of uncertainty, and you wonder if there's truly a light at the end of the tunnel.
But then, you remind yourself: this too shall pass.

Take one day at a time and things usually turn out better than you think they will.

LIfe throws us curve balls and we have to weather the storm so to speak. Then the sun comes out again.

We cannot skip ahead, except for in our planning for the future, and how we might like it to play out.
Sometimes, we plan for something, and it never happens though, and so, in this instance the thing has not passed, but skipped over us, perhaps.
All generalities , like "this too shall pass," have exceptions to them, then.
