Over 113 Dead in Night Club Roof Collapse!

What a tragedy, my country is currently mourning the lost of 113 individuals who were at a night club called Jet set with over 500 people attending a live music even when the roof suddenly collapsed. Amongst the dead are multiple famous people like the iconic Ruby Perez salsa singer and two baseball players, on which even played for the Mets. As of now they still don't know what caused the roof to cave in and are investigating the accident, My prayers go to the families of all the lost ones.

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Do they have good building codes there? I wonder if they will find out just what the reason is/was for the collapse, but I guess it really doesn't matter, as it does not bring the people back that were lost.

When I read on the internet news that former Major League Baseball player Octavio Dotel perished, my heart broke since I enjoyed his pitching style in baseball.

Gosh how tragic. Must have been something wrong structurally that the vibrations from the music caused it to fall. That’s my only guess.

Events like this are probably some of the most tragic because 9 times out of 10 it's discovered someone was negligent in something. More to come on this, I am sure, and I am sure there will be plenty of lawsuits, fines and other things coming out of this.

Yeah I know the owners are going to be arrested for negligence, weeks before this happened they had an event and you can see debris/sheet rock falling form the ceiling and they just swiped it away smh

@BACONSTRIPSXXX Yep. Heads will roll. SOMEONE was asleep at the wheel as these things usually turn out to be the result of.
