Bob was surprised to learn that whatever he did to the hood latch on the van seems to have fixed the problem. I no longer come out and find my hood partially popped. He thought he needed to take something off and do something else, etc. etc. Good news of the day, I guess.

Glad the hood is working now. I had a problem with a door on one car I had. It stuck some how and wouldn't close.

Sometimes they get something wrong with a hinge and it binds and will not open and close well at all.

@GardenGerty .. ........they need to do a better job. I can see an occasional issue but not more than that.

I'm glad the hood latch on the van is fixed. I hope it stays fixed. I made a point of asking that the inside hood latch on my car be fixed when I called and talked to the receptionist at the garage yesterday. I can open it with it the way it is but it's difficult for me to get down in the driver's side footwell to use pliers to pull on the cable. I hope you have a good day at work.

I am glad you are getting the work done on your car. Yes, that would be difficult to do that kind of workaround.

@GardenGerty Workers from the garage came and picked up our car at 11 am today. The tow truck driver asked me what was wrong with it and I told him about the brand new battery needing to be jump started before we could drive it after we brought it home in December and then jump started again after letting it run for 45 minutes to charge the battery so we could drive home from grocery shopping the same day. *sigh*

I worried with the amount of wind we had that it might blow up and hit the windshield.
