Happy Saturday Everyone! the sun finally came out after a morning of clouds. Supposed to be pretty warm today and right now I think they might be right. Tomorrow is Easter Sunday and originally had no plans to do a family dinner or anything. My daughter and I were just going to make ourselves a nice dinner and relax. But, my oldest daughter got a free ham from the supermarket with her rewards points and she decided to cook it and invited us over. So, we'll be going to her house and I'm looking forward to a day out of the house. I changed my mind in the blink of an eye when she asked us if we wanted to join them and my day of relaxing went out the window I'm going to make a strawberry layer cake to bring (that's the only cake mix I have in the pantry) with vanilla frosting and some cut up strawberries on top. She said not to bring anything but I can't go empty handed Strawberry cake sounds pretty festive for Easter. Today is just a day to do some tidying up around here and we're expecting a grocery delivery later this afternoon. For all who are celebrating I wish everyone a very Happy Easter and for those who aren't a very happy weekend
