Easter Sunday 2025

Happy Easter to those who celebrate.
Happy Sunday to everyone.
The day is starting cool but bright and sunny here. I am sure that as the sun rises in the sky it will warm up the temperature.
We had alot of fun yesterday at our son's place. We celebrated Easter together a day early. They are trying to begin a tradition where they spend the day together as a family. I applaud that, both parents work full time and the need this time together as a family unit to spend doing age-appropriate activities with the girls.
I know that they will have a fun Easter egg hunt this morning.
We had alot of fun looking out the window into their backyard when the bunny came by to munch on some of their grass. After the bunny hopped out of their yard and moved onto another yard, the girls were quick to get outside to play in the sandbox with their new toys that the Easter Bunny brought to our place.
We had alot of fun watching them play with their bubble maker toys too. They loved those.

Happy Easter to you as well Amber. 
It has been a beautiful spring day here, I just cannot get over how nice it is outside.
Since we did the ham thing yesterday, I took a huge sirloin steak out this morning to thaw. It is big enough that I cut it into 2 for the marinating and to finish off the thawing.

Glad you had a pleasant Easter. Back in Latvia tomorrow we would be having a second Easter same as we have a second Christmas, I am glad another holiday is over, Somehow my mood is starting to go way down and it has never been this way before. However then I make myself chuckle by remembering my favorite heroine Bridge from the Bridget Jones Diary movies who always moaned I am going to die alone and be eaten by Alsatians but she never says where the dogs would come from

I am glad that your Easter was good, or at least almost over.
We spent the day today alone together, and we had THE nicest Easter in many years.
Our son and his wife are home with the twins today.
They were giving them each a little motorized car to ride on and then watching them play with them.

What a cute bunny scene. It is healthy for them to spend time together as a nuclear family. Glad the girls enjoy their Easter gifts and you can watch them from afar.

I used to really enjoy the bubble makers and watching the kids play with them. It's nice that you enjoyed your time with your son and his family.

Yes, and the girls absolutely loved the bubble making toys.
They each were getting an Amazon child's table with preloaded videos and games on it as well as a little motorized ride on car, which is why they were staying home together today to play with the children and watch them enjoy their new toys.
