What's for breakfast on this sunny and warm Tuesday?

I had an egg, sunny side up, with cheese and crackers on the side. And Summer sausage.
I am off to Guitar Center now. Today is my most difficult day. Several students with what we used to call "mental retardation." I am not sure what the current term is.
Wish me patience.

@TheHorse My day was okay. The garage came and picked up our car to work on it. I hope they can get it fixed this time.
I went to the two appointments Social Security set up for me. One was an eye specialist who tested me and said he didn't understand why they hadn't given me disability yet and the other was supposed to be an endocrinologist but wasn't. The second appointment seems to have been a separate doctor who rated me on how well I could see, how well I could move around and the difficulties I have in every day life... I'm supposed to hear back within 30 days on a disability confirmation... I guess we'll see what happens.

@TheHorse I buy the great value brand at Walmart. It's 6 dollars for a pound here. Not bad but could be cheaper

@wolfgirl569 With the price of eggs under a dollar a dozen, I'm going to buy two dozen today!

Ah Mental Retardation.
It's a good enough term to use and paints a very clear picture in my mind of people we also classed as mentally retarded 50 or 60 years ago.
Seems these days that one just cannot call a spade a spade anymore.
I must ask AI about what mental retardation is called now.

I worked for a non-profit back in the 90's called The Arc. It was originally called The Association for Retarded Citizens. Now it is very hard to find what the initials even stand for. Developmentally challenged is what I am seeing a lot now.

I made a ham and bacon crepe, with a fried egg on top of it. It was delicious!
It wasn't that long ago that mentioning the word "retard" or "retardation" was considered politically incorrect. It seems the pendulum is swaying back again, as I'm hearing more and more people use those words again. Sometimes appropriately, sometimes inappropriately.

@TheHorse I haven't purchased eggs in so long that I have no idea what the price is now. I found someone at work who has chickens, and they have been bringing me eggs for free every week.

Your 'worst' day would be well and truly over by now. Hope it went relatively well.
