Yesterday, a friend of mine described an airplane trip to Ireland where they were engulfed by the Northern Lights. It sounded like a fantastic experience.
I have seen the Northern Lights a few times, mostly in Montana. It is an "other-worldly" experience to me, and generally fills me with joy.
Have you seen the Northern (or Southern) Lights?

Nope... We live too far South for them to be visible here. Of course, I've seen photos online of the Northern Lights. They look beautiful and I wish we could see them first-hand.

@TheHorse When they were supposed to be visible this last fall/winter in Missouri, we walked down the street to get away from all the trees, hoping to see them but never did.

@DaddyEvil Same here. I got away from the city lights, but still did not see them.

@TheHorse Yup. There are so many amazing things in this world that couldn't just be "by chance".

That would be so cool. I saw them one night right here in Boise, Idaho. I'm going to go right now and write a post about that night. I think it is rather funny. I hope you'll come over and read it.

Yes
The Northern Lights are quite a common sight in Scotland.
We have many Dark Sky areas which also helps make the displays brighter or at least that's what I was told.
