My electric bill is going to be under 100 dollars for next month, as I am using no heat or AC. That is wonderful. Maybe I can start replacing the money I took out of my savings to buy the car. That would be super. I will also try to make a large credit card payment.

I was wondering how small it would be. However, starting tomorrow it is going to be warm and will probably need the AC on at least a bit for the rest of the week.

@snowy22315 Our AC has been on. Hubby can't sleep at night if it is too warm in the house. These days with highs right at 90 and high humidity calls for AC!

Well done on getting the electric bill down. I'm hoping it's the same for us. We are electric and gas and January saw us spend £111 on both. February was about 85 and March 75 April will be about 70. Can't see it getting much lower than that It costs about £30 per month for the " standing charges" for both meters which is an absolute rip off. I hope you can replace the money you took from the savings to buy the car. I need to replace the money from the savings that I took out to buy the latest bike

@snowy22315 Thanks It was basically a project bike I bought and got it roadworthy quicker than I thought that I would. Last 200 miles it delivered 118 miles per UK Gallon

Will the weather become hot enough so that you must resort to using the AC.?

That is great! I was happy to see that mine was under $200 for last month! Not sure it will go much lower with the high temps we are already having here.

It stays kind of cool in here due to the greenery, but there are times you just need the AC.

@snowy22315 Right, when humidity is also high, you have to have the AC on!

My electricity bill will cross Rs. 1000 this month as my younger son from Denmark was home and had to keep the AC on constantly because it was very hot here. It has rained and we are feeling cool now.
