Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 56 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. The high for today is just 65. Oh well. It’s still better than winter weather.
I was running late this morning. I hate being late. It stresses me out. Finally I was like “chill out NJChicaa you don’t have a 1st period class”. So of course 1 minute later I received a text from the secretary asking if I could cover a class.
So I had the coverage and she asked me to do it tomorrow too. 
The students are working independently today so I should be able to get more grading done. Works for me.
After work I have 2 hours of tutoring. That plus the coverage is an extra $135 for today. Sweet. No big plans beyond that. I have leftovers so I don’t need to deal with making dinner.
What’s everyone else up to today?

Good afternoon... I'm very late reading your morning discussion today. I've been very busy.
I picked up my car this morning and paid the bill... I picked up trash out of the yard and pulled some weeds out of the flowerbed. I pulled up the wire baskets that hold the tomatoes upright and straightened them before storing them in the garage. I've visited with the rep from the company that pays Pretty for helping me when I can't see. I talked with someone from our electric company and someone from our gas company. I tried to call the repairman who works on our washer/dryer when they have a problem but all I get when I call his business number is the sound of the line not working... I don't know what that means but it might be a landline, so I'm debating calling someone else who is listed as knowing him on Fakebook and asking if he's still in business. (He's about six months older than me... so... )
I also had 142 notifications when I came to myLot this morning (My notifications are only the ones that I have to do something with, not the ones that tell me useless information about someone liking something I said or liking my discussion.) and just finished the last of those about an hour ago...

@NJChicaa I'm glad most of the "work" for me today is done. We still need to go to a laundromat and pick up meds but I have to wait for Pretty to wake up and get ready before we can do those things. Hopefully, she'll be up soon. She usually is.

@DaddyEvil oh hell to the NO with a laundromat. When I moved here I had 3 conditions: pet-friendly, air conditioning, and washer/dryer. I wasn't about to haul my stuff to a laundromat at the ripe old age of 42

It's nice that your hard work brings in some extra cash.
Today is just the usual stuff to do around the house and the never-ending dilemma on what to make for dinner. I have ground beef defrosting and will decide later if it will be meatballs or meatloaf
