I did better on my eye test this year than I did 4 years ago

. So I am still legal to drive. Shopping went good. It was a little aggravating unhooking the battery cable every time I stopped. But I felt safer doing that than taking the chance. Especially while I was at Walmart. Driving home was fun. Hubby texted and warned me that there was wind and hard rain. I drove into it on the way home. At times it was fun trying to see even with the wipers on high. By the time I got home it was barely sprinkling. So unloading was easy. Because of the rain I didn't do anything outside. I think my foot was happy about that. I just spent the last hour talking to Adeline. She is a very happy little girl living with her mom. I am very glad things worked out like they did listening to her. Hope you had a good day.

@LooeyVille We haven't seen him since before Christmas. He has a baby boy now too that I have only seen one time. I am sure he is mad at me as my ex called a couple of times before Adelines mom found where they were. My ex was trying to see if I knew what she knew. I told my ex that our son was being a narcissist a hole. I ain't going to lie

So you've been driving while blind for the last four years?

No wonder the neighbors are scared of you! George kept telling me the neighbors would run screaming when they saw you driving around but I thought he was telling porkies... I guess I should believe him when he tells me stuff like that. I'm glad you did better on the eye exam!

I guess I missed a discussion about unhooking your battery cable when you park your truck... Was the truck so scared it was trying to run away, too?

Poor thing!

I would have pulled to the side of the road and parked until I could see well enough to drive and then driven home after the rain let up. I'm glad Monster seems happier with her mom. I hope she's always happy. It's hard on a kid when her parents fight, whether they're together or not. Have a good night.

@sallypup The 2 lane highway I bring home is straight and not real busy. That helps. I was just hoping the one spot hadn't flooded. I knew it shouldn't be. And it wasn't

@wolfgirl569 I agree with you. There is a low spot on the freeway. My car is not big. I was deeply afraid once when the rain was coming down hard and my car dipped into that low spot. It felt like I was losing control of the steering- and it was hard to see plus the fast traffic near me. Not at all making me want to drive the freeway.

Congrats on eye test, and being able to still drive. I love driving when there is no stupid people in my way. Most days I am like let me fail so I can legally have a excuse so I do not have to drive with these people. Glad things seem to be working well for you.

You still have two eyes, one on each side of your nose?

Glad that was successful! I had a couple of spurts of rain today, one which occurred while I was in the restaurant eating. Nothing that interrupted the day.
