I suddenly feel a little off

I should have done like Bob and slept after we got home this afternoon.
We had lunch with the pastor. . . she and her husband make a meal for all on the first Sunday of the month. It was "tacos" today, and there was not anything left out or anything to make me ill. Oh, wait. . . I ate shredded iceberg lettuce. I never eat that, except when I either go out for Mexican food or am served it like in this situation. Maybe that is it. I know if you are not used to it it can be hard to digest. We usually eat spinach or romaine or other dark leafy lettuces.
Bob and I had supper at home and it was right after that I began to feel ill.
So here I am off to bed. Hope you have a really good night.

I hope you feel better soon. Lettuce is always hard to digest, whether you normally eat it or not.
I used to always grow spinach on the porch because I like it cooked into different foods or can use it in place of lettuce on a sandwich.

We mostly use spinach. I do not remember how long it has been since we bought iceberg lettuce.

@GardenGerty Pretty likes lettuce but, if there is spinach, she uses that.

@DaddyEvil Of course, you use what you have. I like spring mix or half and half spinach and spring mix, or butter leaf lettuce.

@LindaOHio Are you finally over your bug? Could some of your problem be stress from all the obligations plus the annoying "helper"?

I used some home remedies and it went away as quickly as it came.

@kareng I had some tonic water on hand and I chewed some candied ginger. If a rash is fungal, cortizone makes it worse, but I think your doctor would know that. Heartburn medicines often are proton pump inhibitors, which I believe are antihistamine, also. Which essential oils are you using and are you putting them in a carrier oil? Lavender is good for many things as is calendula.

@GardenGerty That is wonderful. Do yo mind telling us what the home remedy was?
I have turned to a concoction of Essential Oils here for this itchy rash. I've tried several over the counter cortizone creams with no luck with itch relief, and then got a cortizone ointment from doctor along with allergy meds and a heartburn medicine that she said works well on rashes. That one was new to me, but I looked it up and several heartburn medications do state that they help with rashes. Humm, who knew, right? The cortizone ointment burns like fire, but I'm still trying to use it at least once a day. The Essential Oils are what is keeping me sane right now.

I seem to sleep pretty hard, but due to poor planning it is often too short.

There are so many recalls, and it does have to do with growing conditions. It did not last long or come back today. I am sure that was the problem.

It did not linger. I really only ate a little bit of it for some color on my taco as they did not have tomatoes. I always need rest at this time of year.

It was really very quick. I did chew some candied ginger and drink some tonic water. I feel okay today.
