Good afternoon myLot

Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 74 degrees F and partly cloudy here at the Jersey Shore. Top down weather for sure. The students were working independently which can make the day go by slowly but I kept myself busy writing homebound lessons and vouchers and searching for things to use with the students. At least I'm ahead of the game with that stuff. I was supposed to have 2 hours of tutoring this afternoon but one of them has been switched to tomorrow. Fine with me. As long as he doesn't totally cancel I don't care what day I do it on. When I'm done with that I am going to get going on dinner. Not sure what I'm going to make just yet. What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

Just trying to stay awake to keep from napping. Haven’t slept well the past couple nights. Hope the tutoring works out.

I'm getting ready for my afternoon "nap". It is clear up to 63F in my part of Missouri now and doesn't look like it will go higher than that. It has been raining off and on all day. Even the people working in the yards have stopped. It looks like storms are moving in for late afternoon/evening. (The radar is still showing storms making a big circle and coming back to hit us again.) At least the tablets I take when I get dizzy worked. I can make it to the bathroom and kitchen without hanging onto the walls and doorways and without falling. Have a good afternoon/evening.

I'm thinking maybe to have my housekeeper stop at DQ on the way home. I'd get the Honey BBQ chicken tenders box (comes with fries and garlic toast). I could use some variety in my menu.

We hit 74 today and the sun did make an appearance, but now it’s hazy again. I went back to bed this morning, too many sleepless nights lately. The son has requested homemade for dinner, which is fine. He always eats tacos and I generally have a taco salad when he gets those,cap it works out well.
