Who married you?

I’m not married, but my sister is about to celebrate her 20th wedding anniversary, and our dad actually conducted the ceremony to marry her and my brother-in-law. I thought that was sweet, but if I were to get married anytime soon I’d rather my dad just relax and not worry about anything to do with the ceremony. So, who was the person who conducted your wedding ceremony? If you’re not married, do you have someone in mind? I don’t think I’ve thought about it since maybe I was sixteen.

Well my first marriage it was by a lawyer at the courthouse. He was really very nice. The second time was by a minister in a church. It was a nice service and a perfect day. We got some beautiful outside pics.

@AmbiePam Friend likes to tell people I wanted the wedding more than the marriage. He might be right . I would have stuck with it though if we were more compatible.

A Mexican judge married us on the beach at sunset in Cozumel. The entire ceremony was in Spanish. . . and neither my ex nor I speak Spanish.

I asked the judge who gave me full custody of Pretty to marry my second wife and I. A random judge married my first wife and I. I didn't want big weddings and we couldn't afford a big wedding, anyway.

A Marriage Commissioner married us in our yard. Shortly before our wedding, Hubby realized he'd never received the decree absolute from his divorce. He thought the decree nisi was the only document. When we tried to request one, we learned the records office in his previous city had burned down! Eventually he got it but not in time for our wedding day. The Marriage Commissioner explained to all our guests that we wouldn't really be married that day and it was a practice He came back and married us a month later. Second time Hubby's son was back from Afghanistan, so that was nice.
