So my husband and I were leaving to go to the store today and a ladybug flew into the car. My husband was driving and the lady bug flew in front of his vision. He rolled down the window and and tried to get the lady bug out of the car. We though it had left but we drove off and there it was again. When we got to the store . There it was again flying around the front of the car. My husband caught it and put it outside the car. I told him the poor lady bug just want to go for a ride with us. He said not in front of me when I am driving. Poor lady bug was kicked out of the car. When we came back to the car the lady bug flew back into the car and there it was again. I caught it and held it in my hand so my husband could not pick on it again. The poor thing. When we got home. I turned it loss in our yard and told my husband he was a bully picking on a lady bug.

How funny, You know what that means. You guys get 4 times the luck because Lady bugs are good luck. That is what our mom always told us that they are good luck and you are not allowed to kill them. That's how you know its true.

@jstory07 Your garden is probably heaven to the ladybug! Plus, a very beneficial insect to have in your garden.

You did well Judy. I have no idea what I would do if a ladybug got inside my helmet when I was driving my bike. If you had got to the store and it hadn't come back into the car it might not have made it home again

Lady bugs are a bug that do not bug people, and you did well to bring it home again to live for another day. I believe that they can live up to a year, or more, so it should stay around for a good bit longer, near your house.

@innertalks (They do bug but it is rare and always harmless. In my day they were everywhere, one crawling up you arm and would scare you, but they just trying to get somewhere and you were in their way. I imagine why My mom told us that.
