My Father's Dog is Missing

I went home to my hometown yesterday to vote.
When I got home, Blacky is still around. We noticed that he is not around since last night. The problem is we don't have CCTV to check what happened yesterday. I think someone got hold of him.
I hope he gets home safe. I am afraid someone tried to poison him.

Oh surely not.
Why would anyone poison a poor dog.

I think I saw your recent post about your dog finally returning home and now being kept on a leash to prevent him from wandering off again. I’m really glad to hear he’s safe and sound.
Sadly, my own dog wasn’t that lucky. We used to let him out early in the morning to do his usual routine, and he’d always come back on his own—not one to loiter or stray far. But on that one unfortunate day, he never returned. We lost him, and we suspect a dognapper took the chance when they saw him alone. It was heartbreaking, and we still miss him deeply.

Hope you get him back. Some people are too wicked and have no compassion for animals.
