Teamwork saves a mare and a foal who were stuck in a mud pit

Thanks to the teamwork of neighbors and animal lovers who answered an emergency call when a mare and a foal who were trapped in a mud pit on Saturday April 26 near Heber-Overgaard Arizona.
Betty Nixon who is an official with Friends of Heber Wild Horses with the help of a neighbor saw that five persons were able to rescue the foal out of the mud pit.
A stranger named Andy went into the mud and with the help of the other animal lovers used a rope under the neck of the mare and use of a rescuer's lunch bag to keep the horse's head above water while they were able to haul her to safety.

That is a heavy job, to pull a horse from a mud pit. I bet they were exhausted after that rescue.
