We are warming up here in my neck of the woods. Today we were in the high 20's C and sunny, yesterday was about the same, but very humid, tomorrow more of the same.
We are on the cusp of a holiday weekend-Victoria Day is on Monday. This weekend is the unofficial kick off to summer, flip flops, ice cream, air conditioning, grilling and camping.
We enjoyed our first ice cream cones at home this evening. It was our favorite brand, Shaws, and our favorite flavour, which is moose tracks. There are delicious ribbbons of chocolate in the vanilla ice cream as well as little chocolate cups scattered in the mix. It is delicious.
I enjoyed my first ice cream cone of the year, and am sure that it will cool me down.

I loooooove ice cream. I have no self-control when I have it in the house. I rarely buy it.

That sounds delicious!
Moose tracks and bunny tracks are both good ice creams. One has ribbons of chocolate through it with cups of chocolate filled with caramel and the other has ribbons of caramel with chocolate bunny footprints in it.

Your ice cream looks delicious. Don't think we have the Shaw brand and moose tracks here.

It was delicious, mostly because it was nice and cold on such a hot day.
Shaw brand ice cream is manufactured in our region and is sold widely in our country at the major grocery stores. It is kind of a well-known secret as it is only sold here. Until 6 or 7 years ago you could only buy it at their store near their processing place.

We both like this flavour, I won't keep it stocked all of the time during the warm weather, it is too rich for me for that. Now if it were maple walnut ice cream.......it would be here all of the time, but we both don't enjoy it and we don't have alot of room to hold tubs of ice cream so we have to agree on 1 flavour and go with that.
. . . ok, you gave me the idea of putting on the list for next week

Ice Cream Cone.
We haven't had an ice cream cone this year yet.
And most likely won't ever buy them.
Yvonne says it's a total waste of money and she is right, ice Cream cones are very expensive here
Moose Tracks, sounds interesting.
We could have Nessie waves.
Victoria Day, Queen Victoria, Mother of Confederation.
