Are you good at assembling things?

That is one thing I hate, and am not good at. I was just working on a BBQ grill that sAid easy assembly ( yeah right) I simply don't"t have the patience for this kind of thing, plus no "knack" that mechanical people tend to have. Of course I also managed to lose a fairly critical screw .sigh! Don't care..as long as it stands up I am going to use it anyway.

I am not good at assembling things, but my husband is very good at doing it.

Most of the men I know are pretty good at assembling things and most women seem not to be. However, there are exceptions to every rule.

I would too. But yes, I am pretty good at assembling things. I may have succeeded in a minor project this morning. Wheee! I hope you find the screw. I would hate for the thing to come tumbling down right when your first steak is "perfect."

@AmbiePam I had that stupid snowblower sitting around here for 2 years. Drove me nuts it's finally together now.

It's stressful too . I usually end up giving my projects to someone else to finish or correct.

@snowy22315 - After we moved here, we already have assembled several bookshelves, a shoes cabinet, a cabinet for the bathroom. I hope it's all done now.

I'm pretty good at it; but I don't have the patience to read the instructions. I like to dive right in. Not always the best solution.

Especially when it says " easy to assemble"
I try, but eventually pass the task on to Yvonne who is really good at this sort of stuff.

My son was my assembler but he is elsewhere now. Another person who put some of my stuff together has Alzheimer's now

I suppose i could put things together if i had to ..... not through choice though !!!
My partner usually does stuff like that ....although he doesn't usually read the instructions ....which can be a bit annoying.

I'm not good at it either. I put my desk chair together, but I couldn't get the back of it on it by myself. My mother put the back on for me.
