Good thinking ahead

I remembered before I got ready for the day that I would not be able to go to the pool right after my blood draw. So I planned otherwise.
The title, however, refers to the phlebotomist.
I only had orders for a lipid panel from the phlebotomist. She asked if my primary needed any bloodwork soon. I know I have an annual coming up in the next week or so. Stephanie, the phlebotomist checked and it was close enough to go ahead and draw my other samples for my doctor. That was good thinking ahead on her part, and it saves me another morning of fasting and another trip in to town.
So, I could not go swim, I am home and have had coffee and breakfast.
Let's get this day going, or not.

Well done to the phlebotomist for checking when you need a follow up. Enjoy yourself this afternoon!

This is not what I generally expect, but this is small town personalized service.

@GardenGerty Excellent. The last time l saw the practice nurse she reeled off a list of blood tests to have. I asked her to take it there & then. She laughed & told me she had never taken blood. She had a student with her I asked her if she had ever taken blood before she said no. I told her it's your lucky day I will tell you what to do. (Ulterior motive I did not want to waste an hour- two hours going to the hospital to have it done) She did an excellent job!

I'm glad things for you are going okay this morning. I hope the rest of your day goes well, too.
A pest control guy woke me up this morning. I wasn't happy... He tried to tell me that all my neighbors were hiring him to spray/trap around their houses. I told him we didn't have any pests here. I wasn't as nice as I could have been.

Cold calling is the pits and they can be pretty rude. Do you have a sign that says "Day Sleeper" or anything? I would be cranky.

@GardenGerty No, we don't but that would probably be a good idea. I wonder if people would pay attention to a sign?

That was lucky you got all that bloodwork done today and didn't have to go back for it again. It's bad enough when you have to fast and have it done.
