Hello everyone. I hope your day is going well. It is 53 degrees F and drizzling here at the Jersey Shore. Yuck. It doesn't look like the weather will be much better over the holiday weekend.
Work was busy today so that made it go by quickly. Now I'm back at the apartment with the cat crew. One of the smoke detectors is beeping that "low battery" beep which is obnoxious. I don't have a step ladder and I honestly don't even remember what type of batteries they use. I'll have to see if my downstairs neighbor has one for me to use to check out what batteries I need.
I have an hour of tutoring this afternoon. It is the dreaded APES. 
I also picked up a one-time 2-hour session but it is for bio which is simple for me to do. A secretary at one of the other high schools offered me a student for chemistry but I am not certified to teach that. Oh well.
What's everyone else up to this afternoon?

I stepped out on the front porch to check for the mail and then had a fun time finding the door handle and getting back inside. My vision is down to less than a foot and very annoying... I'm pressed against my laptop screen to read and reply here.
I ate another of the hamburgers I made yesterday evening for my "lunch" at 5 pm.

We went for a ride on the bike again.
Went to MacDonalds.
Had a cup of tea with milk but no sugar.
I smoked at the table outside.
It was sunny.

Will they come do the smoke detector..you don't want that beeping all the time.

We were way down in the 40's last night, and all week it will be much cooler. But that's OK. I don't have to turn on the heat OR the AC which I love. It will be unbearably hot before we know it, I'm sure.
Smoke detectors can be extremely annoying when they start chirping.
Hey, one more day, and you will have a 3 day weekend!

We set off the smoke alarm in our motor home while we were away. The toast was the culprit.
