Would you use someone else's wash cloth?

May 22, 2025 4:25pm CST
I was explaining to Lena about a time I had to do this and I reckon it's fair enough to make a post about it . I was working in a house fixing a computer. I needed a numero 2 So I asked if I could use the bathroom and the lady said I could do I did. Then I noticed there was no toilet paper I shouted " help there ain't no toilet paper in here" The lady shouted back " I know, just use my wash cloth , it's in the sink, the pink one" It did look used, but what choice did I have? What would you have done?

I would have used the Kleenex (tissues) in my purse. Yes, I carry them, not for that reason, but you just never know what can happen . Or I would snoop around in the cabinets for the extra rolls .

@Ineeddentures But I guess most guys don't carry around tissues, right? I mean, how often would you get into such a situation (gawd, I would hope never again). I seriously don't think I could use a washcloth period . . . where would you put it afterwards??

@much2say Well sometimes I need to **** quite a lot. Depends what I have eaten the previous day. I got caught short half way up Ben Nevis once. Reached the Bothy, chemical toilet, no paper

@LadyDuck She did pay, but she should stick to using an Android phone as it's easier to look after than her PC.

@Ineeddentures But the idea of no toilet paper is shocking for me. There are a few musts in my home. One of them is toilet paper. The other were giggies when I smoked.

I have NEVER wiped my butt with anything tat could not be flushed. Even at my outhouse in Montana. I would have shouted, "Can you bring me strip of paper towel?" I know how to tear paper towel in the right direction.

@Ineeddentures Call me old fashioned .... or picky ....but i would rather plant a few trees instead of having to wipe my bum on someone elses cloth, that might have someone elses poop on it !

Think of the number of trees killed in the name of wiping our bums...
28 May
@Traceyjayne Aye we should be planting more trees anyway. And most toilet paper is made from recycled paper and cardboard anyway. Picky and old fashioned Nothing at all wrong with that. Infact. People like me and you should be employed by the Government to teach the younger generation about being Picky and how good the old days were in real terms

@thelme55 Well lol I was sitting there just having done a poop I had no other option. Bad enough I had to stand up trousers down and stumble my way to the sink. The same cloth the lady had used.

Aye well I was on a toilet with the toilet and a sink, that's all, no shower, no bidet, no toilet paper. So I used the wash cloth.
