Heading Into a Holiday Weekend

Happy Friday Everyone! it's downright chilly here and it's back to wearing warmer clothes and I actually had to put the heat on overnight. It's like winter just refuses to go away.
I wasn't here yesterday as I was exhausted. My grandsons wedding was Wednesday night and we had a wonderful time. The bride looked gorgeous, the place was beautiful and the food was delicious. All in all it was a beautiful wedding and my grandson cried as he exchanged his vows. Of course that brought tears to all of our eyes.
But, we didn't get home until way after midnight and I had a terrible time trying to fall asleep so I caught up on my sleep during the day yesterday. I ignored all the texts and phone calls from friends asking about the wedding so today I have to try and catch up on answering.
Even though I didn't drink I felt like I had a hangover yesterday. Partying in the middle of the week certainly is for young people 
Today life is back to normal.
Walmart is coming with a delivery this afternoon and my daughter only has to work half a day. She's happy to have Monday off and can enjoy a long weekend even though we don't have any exciting plans. I'm sure we'll do a bbq of some sort if the weather cooperates.
This weekend is the unofficial start to summer but just seems far fetched with it being so cold.
Anyway, that's what's going on here.
Any exciting plans for you this weekend?

Other than a doctor appointment this afternoon, we don't have any plans.
And it's chilly here today, too. We were at 58F when I woke up a little while ago and are supposed to get up in the low-60s by this afternoon. We're expecting storms/rain by this afternoon through the night and into the day tomorrow. We're under a flood watch here.
IF it warms up enough that I feel like getting outside, I'd like to work on cleaning out the flowerbed some more. I got part of the mint cleaned out of it but there's a lot more to go.

Hope your dr appointment went well.
The weather certainly hasn't cooperated to get any gardening done. Seems as if we've had enough rain to get out of the drought category. Looks like it's clearing up a bit here this afternoon but still chilly

@Marilynda1225 Thanks. The doctor didn't have anything to say about why foods I love tasting bitter or bad today. She said she'd talk with other doctors and see if any of them had anything to say about it. She did say that I was losing weight faster than she'd like but couldn't find anything wrong with me. She said we'll see what shows up in the blood/urine tests she'll do.
It started raining a little after noon today and the weather radar shows we should have storms later this evening and overnight. The temp dropped from 68F as a high to 60F at 6:45 pm. We're supposed to have a low around 50F during the night.
You'll be getting this rain and possible storms tomorrow evening or Sunday, I think.

The wedding was beautiful but it was too chilly for most of the outfits people wore. With it being May everyone dressed for warmer temperatures

We actually don’t have any plans at all now. We had a baby shower tomorrow but due to complications that’s been postponed.
We usually do a Memorial Day party but my husband and I don’t feel like doing one.
On Memorial Day there is a parade and my son and the school band play at the ceremony afterwards. I look forward to that.

I'm staying here in mylot all night this weekend even in weekdays all nights I use to stay here just to discuss. It's fun here.

No plans at all. I’ll probably clean the living room because my niece and grand-niece are coming next week to spend the night (they go to a Shakespeare in the Park festival here every year). I’m also having fun with my new laptop. I just loaded all the “screen saver” photos this morning.
I remember the days when I could go to a concert, stay until 2 AM, then get up at 6 AM and go to work. I remember those days because I sure can’t do that now!

It's a holiday weekend here also
And wouldn't you know it, after 5 weeks of sunshine and relative warmth with no rain
It's going to be colder and rain a lot this weekend.
