An emu that escaped from a trailer in King Of Prussia Pennsylvania on Monday May 5 managed to get the attention of drivers who saw the flightless bird running on the Pennsylvania Turnpike. The emu then started to run on Interstate 76 when the officials with the Pennsylvania Department Of Transporation (PDT) recorded officers with the Pennsylvania State Police managed to capture the emu. The owner of the emu managed to reunite with the flightless bird and return the animal back to the trailer the same day. Thank goodness no one was hurt in the incident that happened on Monday afternoon. Link is upi.com/454174654456 via @upi

I´m glad that the emu is not hurt. But surely the owner is careless.

More animals on the freeway. I'm glad the emu was OK and didn't cause any accidents.

I am glad he was caught safely, but who on earth needs an emu in their trailer?

That is a good question why anyone would travel with an emu in a trailer

You would need to be fast to run down an emu. I'm glad they were able to catch it.
