We Had Such a Good Thing Going Last Summer....

It's getting hot and my grandson and I had a great fan system set up last summer. We had two fans on the stairs that cooled the air and sent it up to the upstairs. It made it so much cooler up here. I didn't have to have the air conditioner on so much. It was hot last summer.
Well, we can't set that up until the maintenance person gets the stairs done. As usual we had not heard a word on when that will be done.
If it gets too hot we will just set up the fans, take them down when they come , and then set them up again. It's just a matter of extension cords winded around the ballister that take time to set up and take down.
I wish they'd get stuff done. Maybe next week.

Do you have an upstairs bathroom with an exhaust fan? Put that on to take out some of the heat.

I don't turn on lights, so the exhaust fan doesn't work for me, but we do have one in the bathrooms.

I hope its finished soon. Several years ago was in Boise Idaho and it was hot there. Recent years we have had some really hot days in Southern California I'm not far from Los Angeles.

It can get hot here. We have forest fires each year because we have been in a drought for years. California has had some horrible fires ravaging it. Stay safe.

Its really terrible the way we have to live..I understand what you are saying..arranging our homes due to them... I hope they'll do It soon for you. That is a major hardship so hot for you.
