Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 58 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. How in the world is this the temperature for Memorial Day weekend? Of course the ocean is too cold to swim in (unless you are insane) but it won't even be comfortable to lay out on the beach unless you are all bundled up. I had to shut the windows and turn the heat on because it was so uncomfortably cold in here. Nuts.
I woke up at like 5 am and was all stressed until I remembered that I didn't have work today. I just rolled over and went back to sleep. 
I can't wait until summer break when I can do that every day.
I don't have any big plans for the day. The pool is open but I'm not going since the high for today is only like 67 degrees F and the water is still green. It is fine. I will be happy to just hang here with the cats and take a nice long nap later.
What's everyone else up to today?

It’s supposed to be 85 and humid today with storms. I’ll still be working on my apartment. I am so tired of working on it, but hopefully after Memorial Day I won’t have to think about it. Girl, I’m about to just start tossing stuff, no matter what shape it is in. But darn it, donating things instead of tossing them is ingrained it me.
Now, most importantly, I demand you have a great day!

I went to church this morning with Juanita... Elm Street United, and Cassandra gives good sermon but it just isn't what I grew up with (Catholic) and everyone is soooo friendly, too friendly for me. It makes me uncomfortable.

I am glad you were able to go back to sleep. Son had a truly bad night...long story but he finally slept but not until this morning. We just go day by day at times...and keep on going.
Hopefully, you can get some extra rest in before you have to return to school Tuesday morning. It is currently 65 degrees here, that's the high...so we don't need heat or AC. I am on a roll, I don't want to turn on either one. Our electrical rates recently took another big hike here, and I am NOT anxious for hot weather, and how uncomfortable 90's and 100's can be.

Good morning. It is 60F in my part of Missouri this morning and storming. (It's supposed to storm most of the day today.) Our high is only supposed to reach 66F by late this afternoon.
IF the rain stops this afternoon, I may try to go out and pull up some more of the mint from the flowerbed. We shall see what happens by then.

Cousin #2 wanted to come today to pick up groceries, take out the trash and make sandwiches for me. She's coming earlier so that she can get home and spend time out in the yard.
