For a limited time George Clooney is starring in Good Night, and Good Luck, a play on Broadway. It’s his first time on Broadway and he’s been nominated for a Tony for this role.
Tickets for this play are hundreds of dollars each. While I’d really love to see this play I won’t be spending that much money on a ticket. Luckily, and for the first time ever, this play will be broadcast on TV. It will air live on June 7th at 7pm on CNN and the CNN website.
I better remember to set my DVR to record it. So far when I search for it on FIOS all that comes up is the movie of the same name that George Clooney starred in.

What is FIOS?
George Clooney is quite a good actor and he is quite a good singer too.

That is cool. Being broadcast on TV, so those who can't afford a ticket can still benefit.

Sounds interesting, Glad you don't have to go to Broadway to see it, I hope Clooney will be a winner, A little jealous of him the man is four years younger than me,

Other A-list stars that are in other Broadway shows were not nominated. Denzel Washington, Jake Gyllenhaal, Kieran Culkin. Some say they were snubbed. I don’t know. Haven’t seen them on Broadway.

Definitely. It’s crazy how much money one has to spend for entertainment.

I checked out a few dates and cheapest available is over $300. Some go as high as over $800. Crazy!

That would be really cool to watch. Unfortunately, on June 7th I will be doing a bar crawl in Orlando with my son, so I won't get to watch it. I don't have a DVR to record either, so I wonder if they will offer replays on the CNN website afterward?

@lovebuglena True, that is always an option. I'll ask around and see if any of my friends have a DVR and would be willing to record it for me.

Not sure. Hopefully, they do. Another option is if you have a friend or family member that has DVR perhaps they can record it for you and you can watch it later at their house.

@moffittjc Hopefully, they do. You can watch it on the cnn website but you’d have to do it as it airs.
