Hello everyone. I hope your day is off to a good start. It is 55 degrees F and sunny here at the Jersey Shore. This is crazy cold for Memorial Day! The general rule of thumb is that it is always 10 degrees colder over at the beach so those people must be MISERABLE. Not only is the ocean way too cold to go into but it is too cold to even soak up the sunshine.
The alarm went off at 5:30am but luckily I remembered today is a holiday and I didn't have to get up. 
I stayed in bed for about another hour before finally getting up. I had to make sure to take omeprazole this morning because yesterday I had some wicked heartburn.
I don't have any big plans today. I will do some meal prep for the week. My neighbor is going Instacart this morning and is going to pick up some fresh fruit for me to make fruit salad. I had a gift card to use and told her to just keep whatever she doesn't spend with it.
What's everyone else up to today?

Glad you went back to sleep for awhile. It’s 53 degrees here right now, may reach 68. Not hot and not. Cold so that’s good in my book! Working on some cleaning here at home today.
Fruit salad sounds delicious. Now I want some!

Oh l see memorial day is a holiday for you. Here we are also on holiday but typical as with most bank holidays it is raining here! Have a nice restful day!

It was a surprise to wake up to 64 degrees this morning, but I guess all the storms last night cooked everything down. Which is fine with me since it has been so hot.
My best friend is coming over later today to help me finish organizing. I am determined to have it all done today.

Shivering in my boots here, too... only 11°C/52°F, but sunny. Hurricane season usually starts June 1, but if it's still this cool, the water won't be warm enough for another month or two.

Nice of you to give your neighbor that what's left.
Gee, that is unusual for the weather up there isn't it.
Here too..its mildly cold. And rainy.
Still waiting here for a date to move into the new place.

Good morning... It is 54F and sprinkling in my part of Missouri this morning. The Weather Radar shows that it should start storming before 8 am here and lasting through early afternoon. The predicted high today is supposed to be 60F if we're lucky.
With weather like this, we aren't planning anything... I would like to go out and do something today but have no idea what that would be. I guess I'm just restless. I'll probably go to sleep in a little while.

I love fruit salad. I miss not getting enough veggies and fruit in my diet. Cousin #2 picked up my groceries, took out the trash and made me sandwiches. She was in a good mood.
