What Do You Think?

About someone who will not cease to annoy you to the point of no return regarding the name that you should call God? I know someone like this..it is insanely irritating, although I do not respond to it. Now this is not a religious difference, this is insane. Have you ever encountered something like this?

I think that religion is something personal. I would be so annoyed if someone tried to interfere that I´d tell the person to stop.

I ignore them, for I know this person, once you start to oppose them, they don't stop.

That would be beyond annoying. It's hard not to respond sometimes to this sort of idiocy.

Every religion seems to have their own name for God, but to insist that their name is the only right one is annoying, as even God himself admitted not to even having a name for himself, as in the Christian bible, he simply said, "I am who I am." leaving it up to us to give him a name, I guess.

Yes that is how I recall it also. And it makes sense to me, why would a great being care about the particular name they are prayed to in? It seems ridiculous but this has gone to the point I find it abusive.

@RebeccasFarm Yes, a great being would always know when people are talking to him, and no name would be really required to do so.

Oh, I have a bit. IN my opinion it is not as important what you call God but that you call ON God.

I call GOD, GOD. I guess other religions might call GOD by a different name and still mean GOD.

Yes that makes sense to me. I would never force my thoughts on another person.

Different religions have their own name for GOD, they have their right to do so but do not interfere others.

There is a thing called God of one's understanding - to each their own

Some people push their beliefs down other people's throats. It is irritating because we have different preferences. Have tried telling them to stop?

Sounds like the person wants to be confrontational more than anything.
