We just had an earthquake with a 5.1 magnitude. Fortunately, we did not feel it where we are. But hubby and nephew, who works in the central business district needed to go down from the 24th and 21st floors by the stairs. I am pretty sure those two will feel like beaten up when they get home.
Hope every one of my fellowmen are all safe.

I hope your hubby and nephew are okay and happy to be alive.
I need to check in with other Filipino friends and make sure they're okay, too.

An earthquake of 5.1 magnitude is horrible. Wish and your fellowmen are safe We had one earthquake around ten years ago. It was mild.

That is why I like first floors. I dread earthquakes.

When I woke up last Monday, I felt that my bed was shaking. I did not alarm my parents, because it stopped right away. It is hard to tell my parents nowadays because they are old now and get scared easily.

How frequently do you have earthquakes in your country? It seems like there have been more and more quakes reported across the globe recently. I hope it's not a sign of bad things coming up in the future. And are your earthquakes seismic related, or volcanic related?
Your husband and nephew should be happy that they had to go DOWN the stairs, instead of up. At least in their case they were going with the flow of gravity! haha

We felt it here in Manila and we were having our seminar at the 4th floor. We went down but asked to come back to continue the last session.

Interestingly so far today l have just counted 168 earthquakes around the world of various magnitudes. We still have 8 & a half hours left today. They are happening every single day. Some small tremours & some quite forceful. I am glad to hear you are safe!

I hope so as well since earthquakes scare me more than hurricanes.
