Some random thoughts on a rainy morning

It's frustrating when someone close to me ignores my WhatsApp messages, especially when I know they've seen them through notifications. It feels like a matter of priorities.
Anyway, it's almost 8 a.m. here. My exams finished on the 22nd, and I'm now waiting for my project dissertation on June 2nd.
Yes, its a rainy day here ... clouds and intermittent rainfall.

@dreamerby 3 am here with persistent, heavy rain beating on the roof and making a hissing noise as it falls through the trees. The smell of the damp earth is floating in through the open window and sleep eludes me.

I find the smell of the damp earth intoxicating. I kinda love to watch rain from isnide my house as the roads are really messy when its raining.

I'm glad you're done with your exams and am positive your dissertation will go well, too. 
It's sprinkling right now and is supposed to start storming in a couple of hours.
I ate a sausage, egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast this morning along with a cup of fresh cherries. .
