Are Iowans coming to their senses?

I have avoided discussing politics recently. but at a personal level, I was disheartened in 2024 when voters from two "common sense" states I have lived in, Montana and Iowa, apparently voted for Donald Trump over Kamala Harris.
I was encouraged this morning by the clip--I think it's from Meidas Touch--showing Iowans (I think they were largely Conservative Iowans) booing Trump's apologists when they essentially parroted Trump's ramblings.
I'll have to talk to my Very Conservative Friend in Montana to see what he thinks of it all He is a miner and a common sense guy, and way more Conservative than I am.
Did Trump really speak about "trophy wives" at a West Point graduation ceremony? I believe he really did. If you think (or don't think) that clip was AI generated, let us know in the comments. I admit that I saw it on a "Liberal" blog. It looked real to me.
What are your thoughts about all this?

I have not read about this here today. Trump´s new in my country now is how rich Trump´s boys were getting.It seems that the world will have to bear Trump for more than his natural life.

Trophy Wives - I have no idea if he really did and I could not tell AI generated stuff from the real thing.

I had heard several different times that he said it, so I have just assumed it was real. It never occurred to me that it would be AI.
