5 hours or so to her place and another 2 5 to where my parents live she or bro in law will take me up there though. I don't want to push the car. It's not perfect, should make the trip though.

To drive on the Swiss freeways (that are not free) we have an annual sticker that costs $ 45 per year. It is very different here in Italy, every time you enter you have to pay and the price depends where you go. From here to Milan it is $ 10, that is A LOT!

Yeah, sounds it You pay 35 for the easy pass which takes care of tolls, but it will be close to 25 to sis's place and back.

@snowy22315 - The Swiss system is good, they have the same system in Austria. In Italy and France it is very expensive to use their "non"-freeways and often there are no alternative roads.

@snowy22315 I'm glad we don't have those here in MS (or none that I know of). Louisiana has one down on the coast going to Grand Isle. We haven't even been through there since it was put in several years ago (over 5!)

EZ pass makes it easier. You get a slight discount for having one too

We have KTag, but it is good in Oklahoma, as well as Kansas. I think Oklahoma uses EZ Pass. It is very convenient to do tolls with a pass. We are headed toward a system with no booths, just cameras and electronic passes.

In our local province we never impose toll fees. Only in highly urbsnized cities in National Capital Region.

They are more common in urban areas or those that are turnpikes going through the center of a state.
