We had a Chicken Kiev with Crinkle Cut chips and mixed vegetables.
I use a lot of Onions in my cooking.
Especially in curries.
Red onions, brown onions and shallots too.
Corn on the cob is a favourite of mine too

Good stuff. Do you ever make it in the microwave? That is how I do mine .faster than boiling and you dont't have to peel the leaves. They just slip off, once you cut the ends off

@Ineeddentures No, was talking about corn in the cob. I wouldn't cook onions in the microwave..odorific.

No
Never cooked onions in the microwave
Never thought about it to be honest.
I cook my curries from scratch on the stove so the onions have to saute with the garlic, ginger and spices.

Yes, I've had them before but not recently. They tend to have more calories in them

@snowy22315 - I made a Sicilian recipe, it’s made with sauteed bell peppers, capers, garlic and breadcrumbs mixed with Pecorino, olive oil, black pepper and oregano. It's tasty.

They are 4 minutes, and if you do it right, the sheaves slip off.

Nooooooo. I am not a fan of onions. The only kind I like are French fried onions on top of beef stew or a BBQ sauced burger.

We are huge onion lovers here. Onion burgers sound delicious, as does corn on the cob.
I have canned corn many times and while it’s a messy process to cut kernels off of the cobs, it just tastes fresher and better. I like to freeze it in the summer. So good!

I love watermelon. But it is ridiculously expensive here right now.

My supper is always light - a boiled egg and a hot mug of milk

I don't particularly like either, but it"s low in calories.
