I just tumbled off the treadmill. Thank God I didn't get hurt. I have to move that thing so I can grab into something if I need to. I used to have a great situation with my old desk but when I replaced it with the rolltop since it doesn't extend as far.. I can't use it for balance when I need it. This was a wake up call though. I will slide the TM back so I can hold onto the rolltop. I could have broken my elbow or displaced my shoulder The other was sis told me today that my brother in law's brother (super nice person) who has MS..although generally very well controlled was found unresponsive by his wife on the porch. Apparently they found out he had had a seizure so us now on anti seizure meds . How is everybody in your world?

We had a red tag thing on our treadmill that we were supposed to attach to our shirt/jumper. Of course, the only time I fell off it, I didn't have the tag on.

I am glad you did not get hurt, falling from a treadmill can be really dangerous. I hope your BIL's brother is recovering.

I wish this one did. It is actually a walking pad as opposed to a real treadmill, but it does the same thing. It can go fast too.

I'm glad you did not get hurt on that treadmill. i learned many years ago to avoid treadmills. I used one very slowly and still ended up in physical therapy cause even slow moving on a treadmill woke up my sciatica. And that made it very difficult for me to walk without screaming from pain.

I'm glad you weren't hurt. I'm getting rid of my treadmill. I hope your BIL's brother does well on the seizure meds. There are very few people in my world. Just the two cousins who are OK.

Maybe you could try reaching out to family or former colleagues.

@snowy22315 My parents disowned me when I moved out at 21. I've had no contact with the family for over 50 years.

I am pretty happy and healthy. I have not fallen anywhere for a couple of months. I would want siderails on a treadmill, I think.
