@snowy22315 - I remember that Linda also paid a lot for her husband and it was supposed to be a high end one, but the food was not good.

Yes, it is actually good these days which is what a sick or ill person needs.

Yeah, I agree. People who aren't feeling well, need good food to help recover.

@snowy22315 Totally agree. Good food has a lot to do with feel good factor and does impact our mental and emotional health.

It has improved 100 fold compared to what it used to be.

@Ineeddentures It was not good when I was in the hospital in 1967. Umm, when I had my son, I don't even remember if it was good or bad. I wasn't there very long to begin with. I did do a clinic study at the University hospital here, and part of the deal was you got fed after they did all the lab work. That food was good.

@snowy22315 I hadn't really been in hospital before and experienced the food but my father said it was good years and years ago. Did it used to be really bad in America ?

Yeah, as long as getting out of there is smooth, I guess he will be OK with it.

Yeah, he would not tolerate being there unless it was good I don't think.

It was awful here, but they have really cleaned up there act in the past several years.

Yes, hospital food has gotten much better.
