@LadyDuck No, I think it had 3 stars or something, and the other one he was in had a low grade. She looked into a high end one, but that had no openings.

@snowy22315 - I remember that Linda also paid a lot for her husband and it was supposed to be a high end one, but the food was not good.

Food is a major thing. I am glad that he likes it. It would make the stay easier.

Yeah, I agree. People who aren't feeling well, need good food to help recover.

Great stuff.
Good food is a bonus
Glad he is enjoying it.
I must admit that I found hospital food quite good when I experienced it a few years ago.

@Ineeddentures It was not good when I was in the hospital in 1967. Umm, when I had my son, I don't even remember if it was good or bad. I wasn't there very long to begin with. I did do a clinic study at the University hospital here, and part of the deal was you got fed after they did all the lab work. That food was good.

I hadn't really been in hospital before and experienced the food but my father said it was good years and years ago.
Did it used to be really bad in America ?

Yeah, as long as getting out of there is smooth, I guess he will be OK with it.

Yeah, I haven't talked to him since he was in the hospital, but he sounded cheery at that time. I don't think I would be..

@snowy22315 Cheery is good . . . it helps to have a good attitude while in the hospital. Yah, I'd want to get outta there asap
.

I'm glad his food is decent. My poor hubby had to eat terrible food.
