Do you have 'favourites'?

My last discussion was about Vince pretending to have a favourite niece. His BIL has three daughters. One has four children and he was amused by the Christmas presents that the grand-daughter gave him and his wife several Christmas’ ago.
His coffee mug says ‘You’re my favourite but don’t tell Grandma’ while his wife’s says ‘You’re my favourite but don’t tell Grandpa’. Pretty clever, don’t you think?
The photo is one of the guinea pigs we’ve been looking after. This one is the tamest and I've nearly trodden on him once or twice. She has naturally red eyes. It's not the fault of the camera.

@Ineeddentures Do they bite? I hadn't thought it but I guess they would. They have no other way of defending themselves.

@Ineeddentures So nice that they're at home in your house. They're the best kind of cats really - ones you can give back.

They like the treats we buy them.
They come right into the house.

I have a "favorite" daughter as well as a favorite spoon and fork that said daughter hides from me at times.

Uh huh... and what do you say you do with his potato peeler?
Pretty takes my spoon and fork to her bedroom and "forgets" to bring them back to the kitchen until I ask her what she's done with them...

@DaddyEvil I just go and find it for him. Mostly it's underneath the other utensils.

I should have thought of that so you're probably right. Actually, they all seem to have very bad eyesight. You can drop lettuce leaves right in front of them but they have to stumble over it before they seem to know it's there. Maybe they're just thick!
I need to do some more research.

@Ronrybs I read up a bit more about them and have posted it now. They have a blind spot right in front of their noses so that might account for their apparent bad sight. I just checked and it seems they're not nocturnal or diurnal but just do their own thing.

I've always stated it as....My favorite oldest Granddaughter, favorite Oldest Grandson, favorite youngest granddaughter and favorite youngest grandson etc....so in their own right, they are each favorite.

Those are cute sayings on the mugs.
I remember my (favorite and fun) uncle had a mug that said Damned, I'm Good.
But......my aunt's mug said Hell, I'm Better.
Go figure.
Even with the twins we have a favorite for sweetness and another for fun.
I like to get them shirts with cute sayings on the.......You're My Favorite was one such saying, they both had that and would wear them at the same time.
And while they call me Nanny, I will answer to Nan if Harper calls me that, but I will call her Harp on occasion.
We don't stand on officials in our family too much.

Cute mugs. That's a good pic of the guinea pig. Do I have favorites? There is so little family on my husband's side that I have contact with that it's hard to say.

@JudyEv That's for sure! It's like walking on eggshells when she's around.
