Today I have an appointment with my primary care doctor. Labs were done ten days ago when I did labs for the cardiologist.
My big question for her will be "Why am I seeing this particular cardiologist? and not seeing the one Bob sees?"
Likely we will be discussing new meds, including the one that the pharmacy has sent back to the cardiologist twice now, for improper orders.
I was awake just before 5 a.m. and tried to go back to sleep, but could not.
Trash was taken to the curb but none was taken out besides what was already in the bin.
I will mow more later. It will be hot and dry today.
I need to figure what I will put my new petunias in. Outside time is always good for me.

It sounds as if you got a messed-up cardiologist. I hope you can get in to see another one soon.

My doctor says all the cardiologists are goofy, but I filled her in on the last two years and she said I definitely can have a referral to the one my husband sees. We are going to hold off on Repatha and actually we are going back to metformin, but at a lower dose. My numbers are improving, without any meds.

I often think that many of our ailments can be improved by eating different foods. But I know you cook all the time and strive for healthy meals, so you have that on your side.

I hope you get everything straightened out to your satisfaction with your doctor today and have fun working outside.
The older neighbor is out mowing his yard and our back yard right now... If the grass dries out enough by early afternoon, I'll go out and mow on our yard a couple of times today...
We ran a couple of errands this morning and have been home about 20 minutes. The grass here is sopping wet from the storms during the night. I'm hoping I can get some mowing done this afternoon. The forecast for my area is showing storms again tonight going through the weekend.
I've made three calls this morning, trying to get someone to fix our washing machine. (The guy who used to fix things like that told me he retired about the same time I did and for the same reason... We talked about that for a little while before he gave me the name and number of another appliance repair guy here in town. I called the second guy and left a message asking him to call me back when he has time.)
I also called my GP this morning and asked the nurse what the doctor said about the meds I should have gotten Friday. She said the doctor called and changed the prescription Friday and I should be able to pick them up this morning. I explained we just got home from the pharmacy and they said the meds wouldn't be ready until the 18th of the month... The nurse said she'd call the pharmacy and get things straightened out for me.

Yes, I had a good visit, probably longer than she needed, but I feel confident in her. We are not going to try the Repatha at all. She is puzzled why the pharmacy said she cancelled Jardiance, but it is going to stay cancelled. I feel better without it. My numbers improved. She printed me copies of my labs. Offered me a "sample" Constant Glucose Monitor and I turned it down. At my request I am going back on Metformin, at half the dose I was on when we discontinued it. She was thinking about Monjauro, but says I do not need both. Again, it is an inject able. My brother takes it, but I do not see much change for him. Metformin is very cheap. And although she says of late they have had trouble with all the cardiologists she will refer me to the one Bob sees. I told her that it is just better for my mental health. Along with some of the goof ups from this one..

@GardenGerty I'm glad your doctor is listening to your input instead of making decisions for you.
I can't use Metformin but I'm glad you can.

Hopefully you get some answers...I started petunias from the seeds I collected from last season. They still are tiny and hopefully will start taking off soon. I agree outside time, gardening is always very therapeutic for me.

@GardenGerty That's interesting that they reverted back to the old fashioned lavender.

I have some petunias in a hanging basket I think I called them begonias previously.

@GardenGerty I guess, but I think they may have gotten too wet with all the rain we had.

I hope you can get the cardiologist sorted. That would be good.
