Summer Weather

Finally. I hope it stays this time. Getting tired of hearing the furnace run at night. And needing long sleeves during the day.
We will be doing the mowing today. So not much else. The yard takes time. But it needs done. It does look nice after.
I got my Amazon order 2 days early. I will get the new memory cards into the cameras today. And better batteries. That will let them work better.

Wow an early Amazon order.
You are fortunate.
We are lucky if we get deliveries on time never mind early.
How much grass do you have to mow.
You would giggle if you saw my lawnmower.

Ours are often early by at least a day. Unless they get stalled in Illinois.
We mow about an acre.

The grass here is sopping wet after the storms during the night. It's 10 am and we just came inside and my shoes are wet. I set an alarm for 2 pm and will go back outside and see if I can get some more of the yard mowed today.
The older neighbor doesn't care how wet the grass is, he's mowing his yard and our back yard right now.
The forecast changed again and is showing storms again tonight through the weekend.

Hope it dries enough to mow. One neighbor is like yours. She can't stand her yard looking tall. And we don't have any regulations about it.

@wolfgirl569 I went out and mowed another 1/3 of the front yard this afternoon but I was dealing with the guy coming to fix the washing machine, phone calls and finally fell asleep before getting back out and mowing another section of the yard. I did tell Pretty she needed to go out and mow more of the yard before I fell asleep but I doubt she did. She doesn't do anything outside unless I harp on it and keep complaining until she goes out to actually do it.

Glad you got your order. With me it is this way - yay for summer weather, boo to the start of hurricane time, and SIGH for the many summer memories, Then I always look forward to autumn again,

I'm also hoping the weather stays nice and we can finally turn off the heat. The sun is actually shining here today and we might even hit 90 degrees this week.
Sounds like a good day to do that mowing.
